Villa Corfiatissa, Vigla
- Private Location
- Sea Views
- Swimming Pool
This traditional property has been thoughtfully designed by its owner and is deceptively spacious. It has been a succesful holiday rental villa for several years but would also make and ideal family home.
The front door leads into a hallway, with a staircase leading to the master bedroom. An archway takes you into a comfortable living room with fireplace and balcony doors to the covered terrace. The views from here stretch out over the mountain towards the sea and Corfu Town. An ideal spot for outside dining whilst taking in the view.
The dining area is to one side of the living room, with traditional style brick archways leading to the kitchen and bedrooms. The kitchen is at the rear, and is a good size.
Two good sized double bedrooms are also on the ground floor. One with a terrace facing the view and the other at the back overlooking the garden. A large family bathroom is ideally situated between the two bedrooms.
Upstairs is the impressive master suite, comprising a large bedroom with priavate verandah and a big bathroom. Also on this level is a useful laundry room with a little covered terrace for the clothes dryer.
On the lower level is a large self-contained apartment, with a good sized living room and kitchen, a double bedroom and an en-suite shower room. The patio windows from these rooms lead out onto the pool terrace. Steps to the side lead back up to the main accomodation.
The pool is an unusual curved shape and the terrace has plenty of room for relaxing in sun or shade. It is an infinity style pool, and the view is superb. Up a few steps from the pool is a very attractive shady terrace with a built in barbeque, perfect for dining outside and with easy access to the kitchen.
This traditional property has beautifully crafted stonework on the archways and patios.
It would also make a comfortable year-round home and has a lovely atmosphere of comfort and well-being. The little hamlet of Vigla is a short drive away from Kalami beach and the harbour town of Kassiopi.
