North Corfu

Travelling up the winding east coast road under the shadow of Mount Pantokrator, there are tantalizing glimpses of seaside villages such as Nissaki, Agni, Kalami and Agios Stephanos – home to some of the finest luxury properties on the island. Villas with private sea access, walking distance to waterside restaurants or high in the hills with panoramic views, the North East coast has something for everyone.

A short detour from the main road leads to the calm bay at Avlaki, with its excellent tavernas and incredibly clear water. A little further on the bustling harbour village of Kassiopi is the focal point for many nearby properties, both on the coast, and also up in the hills. These properties have wonderful views across the rooftops, out to sea and across to Albania.

Rounding the corner after Kassiopi the scenery changes dramatically – shingle beaches give way to the long sandy beaches of the north and north-west coastline. Nestled in the mountains above are traditional villages brimming with history and character, just waiting to be discovered.

The north west coast is home to the renowned Corfu Golf Club, plus wonderful beaches, classic Corfu villages and the village of Paleocastritsa, perhaps the best-known village on the island, with its world famous monastery. The area has some of the most dramatic scenery on the island, stunning bays, calm sea, caves – a short drive up to the village of Lakones give the opportunity for a birds eye view down to Paleocastritsa and really appreciate its beauty.
