Details

Comfortable and practical, the villa is designed to take in the vast sea views across the channel to Albania. Its terrace is a great place to enjoy the wonderful sunset making this villa is definitely one of our favourites!

Inside

The driveway heads down to the villa from the road, and a path leads past the pool to the main entrance, at the side of the property. A beautiful solid wood door enter the main living area, which has high beamed ceilings and wide windows overlooking the terrace and the view beyond. A solid stone inglenook-style fireplace houses a wood burning stove, for cozy winter evenings.

At the side of the sitting room is the kitchen and dining area and here the cabinetry is again solid wood being traditional yet contemporary in design. A door leads from the kitchen to the covered terrace, the shady outdoor dining area and outside kitchen, complete with barbeque, fridge and sink.

The house has three bedrooms, the main one is a mezzanine above the sitting area, which is accessed by a beautiful wooden staircase. The bathroom is half open to the bedroom, and skylights allow plenty of light to enter the room in addition to the light from below.

The other two bedrooms are at the rear of the house, facing the pool. One has an en-suite shower room and there is a second shower room in this area, for the third bedroom.

There is an enormous workshop on the lower level with huge doors leading out to the driveway and the garden below. With appropriate planning permission this could possibly be converted into further accommodation or even a self-contained unit.

Outside

Slightly to the rear of the villa is the pretty swimming pool which also has a sea views and is secluded by a natural stone wall which continues into the stone facing on the pool. Lights have been incorporated into the wall, creating an attractive nighttime feature.
